January 2021 The Holy Spirit was in control….We discussed that during this time of unrest we are positioned to be different and let our light shine. Hence our purpose of being a Christian. We should share seeds of hope and not join in with seeds of destruction. We should stand out and help those that are lost and in the dark. One of all of our purposes is to represent the Lord! January 2021 We are discussing purpose. Position -We should be open to allow God to position us for our purpose. Potential-What is your potential; have you thought about it? Perception- What is God’s perception of you? What is your perception of yourself? Preservation- Are you able to preserve? Are you able to keep going not matter what? December 2020 Jesus and Jazz So Many Stars, Natalie Cole Scripture focus Philippians 4:19. God has blessed us all with a lot of stars. The stars are the talents that God has blessed us with. We are to use those stars/talents to help individuals. We are not here for ourselves. We are here to serve and help one another. What are your talents? December 2020 Jesus and Jazz Remember Who You Are, Phyllis Hyman Since we are created in the image of God, remember who we belong to. We were purchased with a heavy price. Jesus’s suffering and His blood! If people support you fine and if they do not that is fine too. Remember Jesus has love for you like no other human being every would! Never forgot he created you, died for you, and rose for you, remember who you are!!!!

December 2020 Jesus and Jazz Here’s to Life, Shirley Valerie Horn We should not waste our time. Life is to be enjoyed. Celebrate every single day no matter what!!! Focus on praising God more; instead of dwelling on your situation. Move forward in life you only have one that is it! Do not allow yourself to be in your own mess move forward. Do not choose to stay stuck. The old saying is so true, “Life is short.” Scripture Focus: Psalm 23:6.

The month of November we discussed Debra. Here is what we learned. She is a woman that has God’s strength and power. Men depend on her due to God’s strength in her. She carried the power of God. There is a Debra in each of us! December Jesus and Jazz Nancy Wilson, A Lady With A Song. There is a song in all of us. Our song is our testimony. It is okay if non one appreciates our song~ We have been approved by God and we do not need anyone’s approval. We should choose to be strong with the song within us. Celebrate the song within us~~ What are your thoughts?????

Something to think about..... The Best Way to Begin in Prayer "They are also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at evening." 1 Chronicles 23:30. No matter what we pray for, thanksgiving can always go with it. A good habit to develop is starting all of our prayers with thanksgiving. An example of this could be "Thank You, Father, for all You have done in my life; You are awesome and I really love an appreciate You." I encourage you to examine your life, to pay attention to your thoughts and your words, and to see how much thanksgiving you express. Do you murmur and complain about things or are you thankful? If you want a challenge, just try to get through an entire day without uttering one word of complaint. Develop an attitude of thanksgiving in every situation. In fact, just become outrageously thankful__ and watch as your intimacy with God increases and as He pours out greater blessings than ever before. The Power of Being Thankful, Joyce Meyer.
